City Parking Implements Body Worn CCTV for Officer Safety and Efficiency

Scottish Communications Group has supplied and installed a Body Worn CCTV system for City Parking (Glasgow) LLP, the Council-owned company managing the city’s off-street car parks.

After evaluating several solutions, City Parking chose SCG’s system for its reliability, ease of use, and robust design. The cameras are compact yet capable of operating a full 8-hour shift, and all footage is fully encrypted to maintain confidentiality.

The Body Worn CCTV units are now issued as standard health and safety equipment for parking officers, helping to reduce investigation times for complaints and allegations, while providing an added layer of protection during day-to-day duties.
