House of Bruar Upgrades to Advanced High-Definition CCTV System

Scottish Communications Group has upgraded the House of Bruar’s security infrastructure with a new high-definition CCTV system, building on a partnership that began in 2009.

The upgrade integrates existing HD cameras and adds new high-megapixel and 360° multi-sensor cameras to cover key areas across the sales floor and external access points. The system is designed for future expansion, with plans to add video analytics for live alarm notifications to smart devices.

A key challenge was migrating older proprietary HD cameras to the new platform. SCG successfully integrated these, saving the client the cost of replacements while maintaining full functionality. The installation was completed to a high standard, with the system immediately proving effective in capturing incidents even before formal commissioning.
