Scottish Communications Group announced as finalist for the UK wide Security Installer / Integrator of the year award.
The finalists for the 2021 UK’s Outstanding Security Performance Awards have been announced. Entrants from across the security sector are celebrating their success in the first phase of the judging process.
The hard work of SCG’s on-site senior engineer Paul Roberts, has been recognised by client Dundee University who then nominated him on behalf of the Company for the Outstanding Security Installer / Integrator award, which is sponsored by NSI (National Security Inspectorate). The early judging has taken place, narrowing down to the final 5 contestants.
The final judging and awards ceremony takes place on the 25th February 2021. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, this will be virtual, instead of the normal glittering ceremony occasion, but it does not detract from the importance and significance of being shortlisted for such a prestigious award.
The sixteen different categories of awards recognise companies, individuals, teams, products and initiatives that have made a significant impact and have demonstrated outstanding performance at the highest level within the sector.
“The OSPAs are growing year on year and really have become the ultimate accolade for everyone working in security, whether a buyer or supplier” says founder of the OSPAs, Professor Martin Gill. “I would like to thank everyone who entered for making this a bumper year. With such stiff competition, I can honestly say that every finalist is a winner.”
SCG’s Managing Director, Liam Mowat, said, “Many thanks to Colin Stebbing from Dundee University for nominating us for the award, and to Paul himself for his outstanding work over the last year. We look forward to watching the ceremony on the 25th”
