The Gleneagles Hotel is a world-renown iconic five-star hotel and leisure venue in Perthshire.

Why Did They Approach Scottish Communications Group?

We have a long standing relationship with The Gleneagles Hotel and have worked with them to develop a comprehensive CCTV and Access Control Solution for their grounds. They initially approached Scottish Communications Group because of our outstanding track record with luxury hotels.

Our Solution

We worked closely with The Gleneagles Hotel to develop a solution that would meet their needs and effortlessly blend into the surroundings. Key challenges we faced during this project:

• Discretion – The Gleneagles Hotel is a world-renown five-star hotel, so it was incredibly important that our solution (and our installation efforts) blended into the background and were discreet.
• Minimise Visitor Disruption – The Gleneagles Hotel specified that we should do everything we could to minimise any disruption to the guests’ full usage of the facilities. We accomplished this by using unobtrusive equipment and by arranging our installation times during non-peak hours.

The Result

We successfully designed and installed and enterprise Access Control solution and we are in the process of updating their existing CCTV network to a state-of-the-art HD IP CCTV system. We continue to work closely with them to ensure that their technology is cutting edge and meets all of their needs.
